ATTENTION WILLIAMS TAXPAYERS

As a result of the Williams Township Municipal Office being closed to visitors until further notice due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the tax collector will NOT be in office on August 27, 28, and 31 from 2-4pm for collection of the Wilson Area School District taxes.

YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF OPTIONS TO ENSURE
YOUR PAYMENT GETS IN ON TIME.

  1. You can use the dropbox to put your payment in as long as it is a check or money order and in a sealed envelope. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.  As long as the payment is placed in the dropbox by end of day August 31 for the Wilson Area School District Real Estate Tax Bill it will be accepted as on time.
  1. You can mail your payment to me ATTN: Jenny Frindt, 655 Cider Press Rd, Easton, PA 18042. As long as the postmark date is August 31 or prior, it will be accepted as on time. Please do not wait until August 31 to put your payment in the mail. I have had instances where taxpayers put the payment in their mailbox but the post office didn’t postmark it until the next day. I have no control over when it is postmarked, and I must go by the postmarked date.

RECEIPTS FOR YOUR PAYMENT

If you would like a receipt returned to you, please enclose BOTH bill portions (the one that says “mail with payment” and the one that says “taxpayer copy”) AND a self-addressed stamped envelope.

If you have any questions or concerns, please give me a call at 484-541-1056 or email me at jfwmstwptaxcol@gmail.com.

Thank you in advance for your flexibility and understanding during these difficult and unusual times while we work together to keep our community safe and healthy.

Your Tax Collector,

Jenny Frindt
